I’ve been trying to wrap my head around the mess in the playroom for almost a month. All the toys the boys received this past holiday have me thinking about how much I’m really starting to hate toys.
If you’re like me, then you just had to do something about it.
After contemplating all the things I could do with half of the toys they already have, I decided to make space for more important things.
First, I set up the activity table so it’s accessible for when it’s learning time. Doing so also helps for when his cousins come over and want to color, paint, etc.
Second, I made a U-shaped pattern around the foam letters we have on the floor. This helps with cleaning.
Third, I got rid of the day bed we had for guests and for the kids who needed a nap. Honestly, it was mainly there for Rocky. He would occasionally jump in it when we played with the boys. It just took up way too much space and made cleaning around it such a pain.
And lastly, I put away toys that we’re not currently using.
