As we move into the end of a crazy week, I cannot help but to think how quickly the month has gone by.
To think, many of us started the year with goals and resolutions, and have already given up on them.
So today, I’m sharing five quick things moms can do every day to improve their relationships with others as well as themselves.
1. Be grateful.
With the daily hustle comes lots of stress. Be grateful for the things that you have accomplished thus far.
2. Get plenty of rest.
Don’t laugh, you know it’s possible. It might not seem like you can get a good night’s rest, but try to do so at least once a week. Grab a book, take a warm bath, or simply have your significant other put your kids to bed while you’re off snoozing.
3. Do one thing every day that will make you smile.
Blogging makes me happy, and I do my best to keep up with my website. It’s not easy and some days I feel uninspired. That’s when I just research and jot down ideas.
4. Spend time away from your phone.
I have a lot of notifications going off throughout the day, most are from my social media sites and some are emails. It’s always so liberating to step away from my phone, even if it’s just so it can charge.
5. Focus on the moment.
We multitask way too much and that’s not necessarily a bad thing. It can be tough to multitask when your child is seeking your full attention. Drop whatever it is and focus on the moment with your child.
Do you have any tips you’d like to add?

One response to “5 Things Moms Should Try Doing Every Day”

  1. I curl my hair every day that I can because regardless of what I am wearing, if my hair is done, I feel good. On the days I don't have time to do my hair, I struggle.
