I recently traded my diaper bag for a handbag and I feel like I’m free again.

I no longer carry my son’s necessary items like diapers and wipes and toys. That’s what I use my son’s backpack for. I even have an emergency bag for him in the car. That’s were I carry all the other “fun” stuff — a change of clothes, first aid kit and more.

HUGGIES Is There Every Step Of The Way
I recently noticed Costco now carries HUGGIES Swim Pants and they even had a surprise for my little guy — a beach ball! He was so excited to play with it that weekend with his cousins.

But that wasn’t his favorite surprise from HUGGIES.

We’re on our third box of Pull-Ups and it was interesting to see a gift inside. This package came with a free Mickey Mouse Clubhouse backpack. I put away since Sebastian already has two other ones, but I figured this one is small enough for him to carry on his own.

The first time we used the backpack was on his trip to work with Jeff. Sebastian was so excited to have a place for his things and he even picked out the toys he wanted to take with him.

On Sebastian’s first day to preschool prep classes, he took it with him. This time he let me fill it up.

Although Sebastian thought he was going to work again, since Jeff was dressed for the office and we all left at the same time, we had a smooth ride to the school.

I know eventually I’ll have to go back to using a diaper bag, I’m enjoying the freedom again. Just imagine not having something weighing down one side of your body or having a bunch of “just-in-case” items everywhere you go.

No fun.

Have you traded you diaper bag for a handbag yet?
