If you’ve ever thought about several ways to reuse take-out containers, then you’re already on the right track for repurposing the content on your blog.

Whether you’re looking to share your post on another website or trying to create a fresh new piece with links to posts you’ve previously published, you’ll need to ask yourself the following questions:

1. What is the theme for this post?
2. What other content can I share that is relevant?
3. Can I turn this into other forms of content, like video or audio?
4. Should this post be part of a series?

You probably read the last question and thought, “how can I make a post part of a series?”

Actually, as a blogger, you’ve probably already done this in the past. Do you have a theme you like to discuss on certain days of the week, or during a certain time of the month/year? If so, you’ve created a series of posts based on that theme. For some it’s a recipe or a DIY post, while others simply follow the Manicure Monday or Wordless Wednesday theme shared across the Internet.

Are there any other questions you ask yourself when coming up with posts for your blog?
