Easy homemade pizza recipes are always fun to make for my family. Trying different recipes in the kitchen with the kids is a great way to spend quality time together. Having a variety of recipe options is perfect for picky eaters.

Instead of making one large pizza, you can make multiple kinds of pies for everyone to enjoy. Luckily, you can get as creative as you want when so you can have some fun with it.
I’ve put together a list of easy homemade pizza recipes you can try with your loved ones this week.
How To Make Pizza Dough
There are six necessary ingredients for making a traditional dough recipe at home. These key ingredients are yeast, warm water, oil, all-purpose flour, salt, and granulated sugar.
You’ll need to preheat your oven to 475 degrees F.
Place 2 1/4 teaspoons of yeast, 1 1/3 cups of warm water, and 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar into a mixing bowl. Whisk these ingredients together until they are properly blended.
You can use a hand mixer or a stand mixer to do this as well.
Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 3/4 teaspoon of salt, and 3 1/2 all-purpose flour into the mix.
Beat the bowl at low speed. Lightly flour the surface where you plan to knead the dough and then transfer the dough from the bowl onto the floured area.

Poke the dough to see if it’s ready. You’ll know if the dough begins to rise a bit where you poked it.
If this isn’t the case, then keep kneading it until it does.
Then, lightly grease the same bowl you used before and add non-stick cooking spray. Place the dough into the bowl and move it around with your hand to make sure it’s coated by the oil.
Next, you’ll need to cover the bowl with aluminum foil and set aside for 60-90 minutes. This gives the dough time to rise.
Now it’s time to set up your pizza pan. Apply nonstick cooking spray.
Optional: Sprinkle cornmeal to the bottom of the pan. This gives it that extra crispiness and flavor.
You can now begin to shape the dough to your favorite size. This includes round or square options.
Brush olive oil on the edges to avoid the crust from getting soggy. Add your toppings and slide the pan into the oven for 12-15 minutes.
Watch for the edges to turn light brown or golden.

I love pizza but not particularly enjoy many combinations. I prefer the traditional cheese and pepporoni, but the Mexican style one sounds good.
