Saving up for a family vacation can be exciting when you plan ahead. However, there’s one way to plan in advance that has helped my family book a trip to Legoland Florida using Legoland discount tickets and have a place to stay.
In this post, I’ll be highlighting our stay at Balmoral Florida and how it allowed us to save money on a Legoland vacation.

Planning A Trip With Legoland Discount Tickets
It was our first trip to Legoland Florida and we’ve already decided that it won’t be the last. Not only did our kids enjoy themselves, but so did we.
As avid Lego users, we were excited to find that the Legoland theme park has a variety of Lego creations throughout Legoland park.
Finding the best time to travel to Legoland Florida depends on your preference. We made our trip during the coronavirus outbreak. There were few people and the theme park had guidelines in place for its guests.
Buying Legoland Florida tickets with accommodations included can get expensive. If you book with Balmoral Resort in Orlando, then you get Legoland discount tickets as well.
The partnership with Balmoral Resort is what allows you to get Legoland packages for your family vacation. I shared my first impression of our trip to Balmoral Resort Florida here and we were excited to make the trip again this time around.
More Than Just Cheap Legoland Tickets
When you take a book a trip to Balmoral Resort, you’ll find more than cheap Legoland tickets as part of the accommodations they have available for their guests.
It’s an experience for you to enjoy with your family and/or friends. As a mom of three kids, it’s nice to see that there’s a water section for the little ones to enjoy as well as a 0 FT section in the heated pool.
The amenities available for guests at Balmoral Resort include:
An over-sized chessboard and figures;
A splash pad for the kids;
Two water slides;
Cabanas by the pool; and
Indoor dining

Our first visit to Balmoral Resort was during rainy season in Florida and we made the best out of the time we had there. It was a great experience with the kids.
Although it’s a pet-friendly resort, there are limitations. With two large dogs, we decided it would be best to leave them behind with friends.
You can always call ahead and ask the front desk if you have questions.

Visiting Legoland Florida After Coronvirus
Walking to the entrance of Legoland in Florida during 2020 has been a familiar view. As more theme parks continue to implement safety guidelines since the coronavirus outbreak, visitors are understanding the need for this “new normal”.
Here’s what we saw at the entrance, a notice on who will be turned away (those who are coughing, traveled via cruise ship, etc). There’s also mention of the need for a mask to enter the facility.

Of course, we followed the guidelines and wore our masks throughout the park whenever we were within close proximity of others — in line for rides, while waiting for our meals, etc. It was a wonderful experience for the kids and us as well.
As avid LEGO users, we weren’t disappointed and hope to visit again sometime in the near future.

How To Plan For A Trip To Legoland And Balmoral Resort
There’s no much that you’ll need to pack for a trip to the LEGO themed park when you stay at Balmoral Resort. The vacation home resort has everything your family will need.
Dining Options

You can choose to dine at the Balmoral Bar and Grill. There’s also the option to stop by the local Publix and grab some groceries for your stay.
As guests at Balmoral Resort, you have access to the pots and pans to cook meals during the day. It’s a great option for families who enjoy cooking together.
Entertainment Options

Along with dining options, you also have the choice to visit the water facilities — heated pool, water slides, kiddie water playground, and splash pad. Aside from these alternatives, you can relax in the pool of your vacation home.
It’s a good feeling to be able to enjoy either or.
Home Options
The townhomes don’t have access to a personal pool, but they’re conveniently located across the community pool and Balmoral Bar and Grill.

There are one- and two-floor options for families to choose from when staying at Balmoral Resort. Two-floor homes have a bedroom on the first floor to accommodate those who prefer not having to walk up and down the stairs.
Each bedroom comes with a personal bathroom. There are twin beds in one of the rooms which makes it easier for kids to bunk together.

Special offers available at Balmoral Resort include:
Florida Resident Rate
3+ Night Stays
Mid-Week Stays
Military Discount
AAA/AARP Member Discount
If you need Legoland discount tickets or to other attractions in the area, then you’ll want to book through Balmoral Resort. There are savings to family fun locations in Florida, such as The Kennedy Space Center, Aquatica, Wonder Works, and Walt Disney World.

This is great to know. My family hasn’t been to Legoland yet. We don’t have one in our area, but if we ever take another vacation, I’m sure we’ll be checking for a Legoland. We’ve always wanted to go.
We’re going to FL for Christmas this year. Maybe we will take a trip to Legoland! Our kids have never been before.
I’d love to take my kids to Legoland this year. And I’m thrilled to hear that Balmoral is pet friendly as I have a little 2 pound chihuahua that I want to take with me wherever I go.
I have a family of six so I always welcome discount or money saving options for our travel adventures. I would love to take us to Legoland in the new year.
I hope to visit here with my family someday. Thanks for the saving tips.
