Finding products that work for curly hair can be interesting. Not all curly hair is the same, and not all products yield the same results. I recently tried a new Pantene for curly hair line that has helped with my locks.

Finding products that work for curly hair can be interesting. Not all curly hair is the same, and not all products yield the same results.
For years, I had a hard time using curly hair products. Many would make promises but always under deliver. It wasn’t until other curly-haired women began to complain that more brands started to listen.
Pantene launched the Rose Water Collection to help users with hydration and to replenish their hair. It’s been a great addition to the list of Pantene Pro-V products. However, people are still questioning whether it’s worth the purchase.
Inexpensive, yet functional, is one of the ways I’d describe the Pantene Rose Water shampoo and conditioner duo. It has a great smell that isn’t strong throughout the day.
My curls felt soft to the touch after washing it with the Pantene Rose Water sulfate-free shampoo. The conditioner is smooth when applied to damp hair.
Note: I did use the Pantene Rose Water sulfate-free conditioner throughout the week for a co-wash, and I liked the results. There was minimal frizz when I let my hair air dry without styling.
To answer whether or not to use Pantene for curly hair depends on your needs. Pantene products have come a long way since the last time I used them on my hair and the company seems to be listening to consumers’ needs.
The Pantene’s Rose Water sulfate-free shampoo is on the list of Curly Girl-approved shampoos, according to a post on RealSimple.com. You can search for other products that are Curly Girl Method approved at CurlScan.
At the time of purchasing the products mentioned above, the Pantene Blends Deep Moisture Mask wasn’t available at our local Target store. I do plan to purchase it and share my thoughts as well. If you get a chance to try any of the products mentioned in this post, please let me know. I’d love to read about your experience with Pantene.
After using these two products on my curls, I believe that products from Pantene for curly hair do work. The two mentioned in this post are inexpensive and work great.

Is Pantene Conditioner Good For Curly Hair
There are a variety of options available for curls on the market. Today, you have online reviews and YouTube videos to help make your decision on whether or not a product from a brand you’d like to add to your shopping cart.
The more you research different companies, the closer you are to finding something that helps your curls. When I started my journey, there weren’t that many well-known companies offering curly hair products.
As time went on, more influencers started showcasing products online. This has been helpful for me and others who are looking for ways to tame their curls.
The Rose Water Pantene conditioner works on curls because it is sulfate free conditioner and is also approved by the Curly Girl (CG) method. The shampoo and conditioner are available on Amazon and the reviews are positive.
How To Co-Wash Your Hair Using Pantene’s Rose Water Collection
If your hair lacks moisture, the first thing you want to do is minimize the times you wash it. Second, you’ll need to look into co-washing.
Co-washing is a great way to add moisture to your locks by skipping the shampoo and going straight to a conditioner-only wash (co-wash).
Similar to leave-in conditioner products, there are conditioners made for co-washing your curls. It’s perfect for anyone looking to add more texture to their locks instead of stripping away the natural oils that excess shampooing may cause.
5 Steps To Co-Washing Like A Pro With Pantene Pro-V
Frizzy hair can be stressful at times — more so when you live in a tropical area like me. Living in South Florida has taught me to not only appreciate my curly hair but also to properly care for them, too.
Whether you try this Pantene for curly hair product or not, learning to care for your curls goes beyond the product. It’s about the technique.
Throughout the years, I’ve read several articles and social media posts on caring for my curls. It wasn’t until I discovered the value in my locks that I began to appreciate them. Below is a list of steps to get the most out of co-washing your hair.
1. Brush those curls.
To get the most out of your first co-washing experience, you should brush your hair before applying water. This is something I advise curly-haired women do before washing their locks.
Not only does it make it easier to clean, but it gives each strand the attention it needs. Bonus: It makes it easier for styling as well.
2. Condition like a mad woman!
Scrub that conditioner to your hair like you would your shampoo, but give your ends the full treatment. They need all the loving!
3. Rinse and repeat.
The second time you apply conditioner just to let it sit. Leave it in for at least 10 minutes. This is the time you can use to shave, bathe or paint your nails. You decide how you’d like to pass the time.
4. Rinse thoroughly and focus on your scalp.
Washing out the conditioner is important. This will prevent buildup on your scalp and unnecessary dandruff. Quick tip: Make sure you can see the water coming out clear (no suds) when you finish rinsing. That’s how you’ll know it’s properly rinsed.
5. Comb through your hair.
Using your hands, separate your hair into four sections. First into half, then into four halves. Concentrate on one section and comb through your hair using your hands. If should feel smooth to the touch.

Your hair looks wonderful! I haven’t used Pantene for a while, but it looks like worked well with your hair.
Thank you. It’s improved throughout the years. Honestly, i wasn’t a fan of Pantene growing up. It didn’t work for my curls. My mom would by it for her wavy hair and I would have to use my dad’s products (he has curly hair).
I love your curls. Very informative post too
My daughter has super curly hair so I appreciate the review. I have been trying to find better hair products for my daughters hair.
