Family and friends know I love saving whenever and wherever I go, and Dollar Tree has been one of my go-to stores for more than 10 years. There have been moments that I’ve spent more than $45 for holiday decor and gift-wrapping items. I recently picked up a couple of items for Valentine’s Day. There are so many options to choose from, but I managed to narrow it down to a couple.
One of the best things about shopping at Dollar Tree during the holidays — and throughout the year — is their candy selection. Yes, not everyone has a sweet tooth like myself and the kids, but it’s nice to know that there are healthier options such as nuts for heath enthusiasts.
Keeping Family Traditions
For me, Valentine’s Day is about dedicating time to the people and things I love. That means sweet treats with the boys. We often pack our lunch and make our way to our favorite local park.
Growing up, my mom would always make little baskets with candies for my brothers and me to enjoy on Valentine’s Day. I’ve kept with this tradition for our little ones. They enjoy chocolate just as much as I do, and I can’t deny them any if I’ll be having some myself!
Dollar Tree has a variety of items for Valentine’s Day and other upcoming holidays at your local store and online. These Valentine’s Day tumblers from Dollar Tree come in a package of six for $1. They’re great for class parties and family get-togethers during the holiday. The takeout box comes with two, and it’s perfect for the teachers or even for the adults in your life.
The Dum Dum lollipops are available throughout the year, but you can check out some of the seasonal candies for Valentine’s Day at the Dollar Tree website.
One of the things I love the most about Dollar Tree are the containers they always have during the holidays. This Bear Hugs box is perfect for treats such as candy or even baked goods for your loved ones. The tin containers are great for repurposing.
Colored streamers are a great idea for quick decoration ideas. I like to use them on the windows or drape them over the shades. You can even use them to replace tissue paper or pick up a pack of them for future use as well.
