Becoming a parent means you need to lay the foundation for your children’s future. It may seem scary, but there’s always help.
You know the saying, “it takes a village”? Well, it really does. It takes all the help you can get to raise your children to reach their full potential. When you turn on the news and hear about sadness and suffering throughout the world, it can make you cringe at the thought of raising your little ones in this world.
Here’s something you should remember, you have control over your child’s perspective on what’s going on around them. The world has a lot of good in it, as long as you choose to see it.
That’s why Sesame Street is hosting its K is for Kindness Tour, a free, multi-city experiential tour timed to and inspired by the new, 47th season of Sesame Street.
The K is for Kindness Tour was created for preschool fans and their families and features hands-on digital learning fun, participation from local libraries in each community. Activities include “meet and greets” with the costumed characters, a 15-minute interactive live stage show starring walk-around versions of the series’ beloved characters Elmo and Abby Cadabby.
We were so excited to hear that the tour will be stopping our local mall — the Pembroke Lakes Mall — this Saturday, January 21st between 11am and 4pm. You can click here for more details on this upcoming event.
The new Sesame Street season will feature our long-time friend Elmo in an updated and fun version of “Elmo’s World”. With 25 of the five-minute installments, the new season will highlight lessons taught through pre-school relevant topics, live action films, and interactive thinking games.

My boys always loved Sesame Street when they were little. Such good lessons!
This is pretty cool. Sesame Street is an iconic organization and collaborating with local libraies seems to be a great way to get the message out.
That’s what I was thinking. I really love what they’re doing to get communities excited about learning and the perks to being a kind individual.
My kiddos love Sesame Street! It’s one of those timeless shows that they always remember fondly <3
It really is. I learned so much watching their shows as a toddler. I love to see my kids when they get excited about all-time favorite characters like Elmo and Cookie Monster.
