They say history repeats itself and writers create works of art so they continue to live on, even after their death.
So who — or what — has kept my blog going these two and a half years?
Inspired by family and fueled by love, my blog was created with the intention to help other first-time moms and moms-to-be with everyday life. Encourage these women to not only have hope that things do get better with time, but to also appreciate the little things along the way.
Although my blog is titled Motherhood Through My Eyes, I try to do my best not to just make it about my life, but to also include bite-sized chunks of information that can benefit others in my position.
Beyond Everyday Life
Keeping up with my blog has been a great way to not only connect and “meet” other moms within the online community, but it has also opened the doors to engaging with brands that I love.
With time, I have learned to tame the promos and be more personal. And in a sense, I’ve been successful with keeping loyal readers — which are oftentimes my awesome mommy blog friends. They’re one of the many reasons why I don’t mind waking up at the crack of dawn to update my blog/schedule posts because it’s always fun to read their latest adventures.
It’s like we trade thoughts, and sometimes our thoughts intertwine.

    • Thank you for taking the time out to read my post. It's amazing how much we've all grown to understand ourselves and other moms through our little corner on the web. I hope you're enjoying your time with your nugget! Who knew having a toddler and a newborn could be so entertaining?!

Hello, night shift! I didn't miss you at all!!!!

    • It's funny how you have to experiment a bit before you find your niche. I'm glad you've been able to focus on what you love. It's so important when you're blogging and reaching out to different brands.
